• 2 apricots, halved and seed removed
  • 2 tsp raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp salted butter


1. On a plate, sprinkle cut faces of apricots with sugar.

2. Heat butter in a small frying pan over low-medium heat. Once butter is melted and starting to bubble, add apricots face down and sprinkle with any remaining sugar left on the plate. Cook over low-medium heat for approximately 5 minutes, or until apricot faces are caramelized and golden brown. Flip and cook for 2-4 minutes on the other side; if the pan is dry, add 1 teaspoon more butter and 1/2 a teaspoon more sugar. Remove from heat once fruit is caramelized on both sides.
